Dear fifth grade families,
This week we start PARCC testing. PARCC testing has replaced TCAP. Please make sure that students get a good night sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. In an effort to alleviate some potential stress, there will be NO HOMEWORK and NO TUTORING March 16 - March 27.
We will also send home Balarat information tomorrow, March 17, 2015. Look for a blue Denver Public Schools Balarat Registration form. Please fill this out in its entirety and return it to school as soon as possible. We also have several pink medical forms that have not been returned. We will be emailing and calling for parents this week for those that are still missing.
The Balarat Parent Information Meeting is on March 25, 2015. Erik Hurst can answer any questions about Balarat at that time.
Ms. Zendle would like to have her annual Fraction, Decimal, Percent Party during math class on Friday, March 27, 2015. In order to purchase supplies, please send a $1.00 donation that will go towards the healthy snacks and fun materials for the party?
Sincerely,
Ms. Martinez & Ms. Zendle
