During the Ameritowne portion of our EfS unit on Sustainable Economics and Rights & Responsibilities, students learn about banking and how to use their own checking accounts. Important economic concepts such as supply and demand, needs and wants and consumers and producers are covered. A budgeting exercise teaches the importance of financial planning.
